General tips

  • Try to avoid enemies and hazards on the floor (if your current hero doesn't have a matching resistance) or you'll lose too many movement cards and ruin your adventure
  • You can revert some mistakes with Undo

Help

If you get lost, you can find some hints below:

First step Get to the area on the right from central room with a dragon monument and collect a card there.
Second step Using a card from previous step, get to the area below central room and collect a card there.
Third step Using this new card climb a ladder to the castle on the upper part of the world.

I was unable to get all of the crystals (14/15) but beat the game in only a couple tries! The limited movement and deaths forced me to think in interesting ways. For example, I had to use two different cards in succession to move one space left without moving up or down

The movement was so broken that I straight up celebrated at the ending... XD

Awesome game!

Зашло со второго раза, сразу не понял, что нужно умирать. Любопытная смесь жанров с преобладанием головоломки. Качество реализации 10/10.

Fun game! 3 attempts and 36 minutes to beat.

I thought I was doing something wrong, but I guess there's no way to avoid a few deaths. I thought the crystals were supposed to be healing. I think if they were both collectibles and heals you could route a really interesting and difficult deathless run.

That’s a nice idea! Wrote it down for a potential sequel.

This game was a 48h gamejam experiment, and as a “time capsule” of that experience I think I won’t change the game too much further, but there are 100% many ways to make this game more interesting (and probably easier and more fun)

Yeah, I legit thought I was completely stuck. Then tried just running into something to kill myself and close the game, only to then find out it's a required mechanic.

This is actually true, we never tell explicitly that death is not the end… Changed the wording in the beginning :) image.png Thank you for the comment!
